Trinityhouse The Pretender

Trinityhouse The Pretender Dave Sept 2022_edited_edited.jpg

2022 KNN Knabstrupper  by Norgaards Jason (KNN) out of Trinityhouse Top Draw  (Upgrade KWPN).  TESTED  LP/LP PATN1/n

To make 15-15.2hh (approx - measured 12.3 at withers and just over 13hh behind at 5 months old) Bay snow cap gelding (Dave) is passported with the Sports Pony Studbook Society.

Dave was tall and leggy when born, and has since filled his large frame.  He is full of presence and 'look at me' attitude!  He has lovely paces with correct conformation. Very laid back, he is unphased by all the farm traffic, and has a level head on him. Sure to be a winner in the show ring as a youngster, before going on to a ridden career.

His  sire Norgaards Jason (KNN 307)  is fully graded with the SPSS and the KNN  - passing his performance test with the KNN obtaining a huge 878.57 points out of a possible 1000.  Jason's score is one of the highest ever for a KNN stallion - and the highest over all the UK based KNN stallions. Of special note within his marks are a 9 for his trot and 8.5 & 9 for his jumping technique, and gaining straight 10s for all his temperament scores.  Jason is consistently siring high scoring foals, graded both in the UK and abroad, with the KNN and the BEF Futurity.  His latest foal was ranked 13th nationwide in the BEF Eventing category, up against older youngstock up to 4yo - no mean feat!

His damsire is the superb KWPN stallion Upgrade,  who is a beautifully modelled son of the well-known showjumping stallion, Heartbreaker. In his performance test, Upgrade was impressive with his powerful jump and super hind technique. In addition, this stallion displayed superb movement in walk, trot, and canter.

In Upgrade's pedigree, the genes of Heartbreaker are combined with those of the Westphalian mare Palette, a daughter of the famous Pilot. This son of Pilatus is the top stallion in Westphalia and has produced many international showjumping horses and licensed stallions.

Upgrade was very successful with Caroline Müller and John Whitaker in the Grand prix ring. These combinations obtained good results in respected shows such as CSIO 5* Rome (I), CSIO 5* Rotterdam (NL), Zwolle (NL), Aarhus (DK), Verden (GER)), Oldenburg (GER), Drachten (NL) and Maastricht (NL).

With this pedigree, Dave is bred in the purple to be a SJ/WH performance pony, with the bonus of a striking coat.

Knowledgeable approved home required for this stunning gelding

Dave is wormed and vaccinated, as well as being good with the farrier and vet.
