Britains Joyous Occasion (Welsh Sec B)
2007 Welsh Section B Mare 126cm
Joy was purchased from Angie Ward, Britains Stud, in 2011, as a prospective 'wife' for Henry (Trinityhouse Seahawk).
Joy had two foals by Henry - both were lovely fillies and are now living up in North Yorkshire. Joy is another pony with a wonderful temperament, which is so important for children's ponies, along with super conformation and movement - qualities which all her foals have inherited. She is, as her name, a joy to be around, the most gentle pony.
In 2019 Joy was presented to the KNN to be graded and approved as an outcross mare for Knabstrupper breeding, and graded with brilliant marks. Despite having Champers as a foal at foot, she was a little over weight which affected her withers/topline/quarters marks, but she still obtained an overall premium of 8.
