Stallions Used

As well as  Norgaards Jason,  we use specially selected outside stallions with the goal of producing offspring which are primarily bred to perform as children's ponies.  They need to have superb temperaments, and if we are blessed with spots, then they are the icing on the cake!

Here are the stallions we have used:

Upgrade KWPN

Upgrade is a beautiful modelled son of the well-known showjumping stallion Heartbreaker. In his performance test Upgrade impressed with his powerful jump and super hind technique. In addition, this stallion displayed superb movements, in walk, trot and canter.

In the pedigree of Upgrade the genes of Heartbreaker are combined with those of the Westphalian mare Palette, a daughter of the famous Pilot. This son of Pilatus is the top stallion in Westphalia and has produced many international showjumping horses and licensed stallions. The dam line of Upgrade has its origins in Westphalia. Great-granddam Madame is a half-sister to the Westphalian stallion Glücksritter (s. Grünhorn).

2001 dark bay 16.2 hand KWPN

Approved for: KWPN, Oldenburg, Hanoverian, Irish Sporthorse, Italian U.N.I.R.E.

Upgrade, highly placed in several championships for young horses last year, presented his first foals to the public in 2006. The offspring report praises Upgrade’s foals for their correct exterior, their expression and their superb movements.

Upgrade was very successful with Caroline Müller and John Whitaker in the Grand prix ring. These combinations obtained good results in respected shows such as CSIO 5* Rome (I), CSIO 5* Rotterdam (NL), Zwolle (NL), Aarhus (DK), Verden (GER)), Oldenburg (GER), Drachten (NL) and Maastricht (NL).

HOLMEGÃ…RDS BASTIAN KNN183

2003   159 cm approved chestnut leopard Knabstrupper stallion.

Asti has a fantastic pedigree and the most amazing temperament. This kind mannerly horse is talented, trainable and strikingly beautiful. He always gives his best, and never fails to capture the attention of spectators and judges alike.

Asti completed his performance life grading in Oct 08. His elevated paces and natural athleticism, along with his fantastic off the floor jump, gained him the highest performance marks of any Knabstrupper stallion in 2008.

Currently competing at Advanced Medium - Winning the Sheepgate Premier League, Asti is also starting PSG - very exciting!   His sire, Ravaldi, also sired Lucas Normark, a regular winner on the Paradressage circuit with rider Anne Dunham.  It is doubly exciting, as they are going to compete at the Rio Olympics representing Team GB on the Paradressage team - go Lucas!!!

Asti sired Lilly's super 2014 KNN Knabstrupper filly Trinityhouse Tangerine Dream, who gained a first premium and Best Foal at the 2014 Knabstrupper grading.

Broomells Storm Maker (BSpPS, SPBS (GB), Welsh PB)

Bred by the legendary Mary Basset, Broomells Stud, Storm has many of the well respected old British Spotted Pony bloodlines.

Storm was purchased in April 2010 to be the resident stallion at Trinity House Farm, providing some different bloodlines to cross onto the THF mares.

He has only been lightly shown as a youngster, but has done well in good company.

Storm covered Georgie, Lilly and Passion in 2010 for 2011 foals, all of which arrived safely, see the Foals page for further pictures, all these foals are now sold.

Storm was gelded before leaving THS and broken to ride.  He showed a talent for jumping and was registered BS with some success, before being sold to a private PC home as an all rounder.

Weatheroak Manor King Solomon (BSpPS, SPBS (GB), WPCS)

Solomon is well known multi-champion show winning stallion, as well as having sired a number of superb offspring, which have won many championships in good company.  He is the sire of our stunning fewspot colt Trinityhouse Seahawk (Henry), Britains Mulberry Wine, and also one of our mares Britains Tigre Lilly.

Solomon was lightly competed in the 2010 show season, culminating in the Royal London Show in September, where along with his son, Britains Royal Ovation, he qualified for the evening Championship Performance.  His experience of the show scene saw him rise to the occasion, and he was crowned Reserve Spotted Champion.

Solomon has now retired from breeding, and has been gelded.  He has come to THS to live out his retirement - with the occasional ride for the children.

Britains Royal Ovation (SpPBS (GB) )

We were very fortunate in that Obi covered both Lilly and Passion before they left Britains Stud, and we were not disappointed by our new arrivals!!!

Both foals, Trinityhouse Thunderstruck (Oscar) and Trinityhouse Princess (Layla) were early, and both are superb quality, with athletic movement and gorgeous temperaments.

See the foals page for more pictures and information.  Both these foals are sold.

Obi had a superb 2010 show season, culminating in the Royal London Show in September, where he qualified for the evening Championship Performance.
